Raul Simões has completed the MSc in Mechanical Engineering at University of Aveiro in 2011. The final project was in field of photovoltaic solar cells. From October of 2012 to September of 2015 he embraced the application of his skills in the development of research in the photovoltaic solar cells field. He worked has a researcher (research grant) at the same institution, in the scope of a financed project by FCT directly in this research topic (High performance ZnO based back reflectors for thin film solar cell applications (PTDC /CTM-C ER/121440/2010)). After his work as researcher, he acquired some knowledge and ability in the field of hydraulic and pneumatics as a Maintenance engineer. At the moment he is a member of the Centre for Mechanical Technology and Automation (TEMA). He is a part of TEMA’s support team for preparation and submission of proposals of projects, both national (P2020) and European (H2020).
